Here at Tröegs, we always say that good beer brings out the good in people. Well, we’re putting that mantra to the test with our Perpetual Giving program. We recently finished up the second year of our partnership with Feeding Pennsylvania to help raise funds for local food pantries and awareness for food insecurity in our home state. In the end, we were able to donate more than $40,000 to Feeding Pennsylvania, which represents a portion of sales of Perpetual IPA during the holiday season for the past two years.

“We’re pleased to continue our partnership with Feeding PA and our amazing wholesale partners for this worthy cause,” said Tröegs co-founding brother Chris Trogner. “We always look for ways to make our corner of the world a better place, and this partnership is a testament to our belief that good beer brings out the good in people.”

Feeding Pennsylvania is dedicated to reducing hunger and food insecurity across the commonwealth. Its network of food banks spans across all sixty-seven counties and serves more than 1.5 million people annually. Every dollar generated provides approximately ten meals to help feed Pennsylvania’s food-insecure residents.

“We commend Tröegs for prioritizing food insecurity in Pennsylvania,” said Julie Bancroft, CEO of Feeding Pennsylvania. “Partnerships like this are essential for strengthening our network’s ability to serve individuals and families experiencing hunger in their communities across the Commonwealth.”

It’s just one example of how drinking great beer can do great things!
