Come one, come all to Cranksgiving, our annual food drive on two wheels!

The event has its roots in bike-messenger alleycats, but there are no requirements other than “get food” and “do it on a bike.”

At 8:30 a.m. on Sun/Nov. 21, we’ll meet outside Tröegs, then pedal to local grocery stores to buy food that we’ll then deliver to the Hershey Food Bank.

Afterward, we’ll meet up at Tröegs to celebrate a job well done. We’ll even give all registered riders 21 and over a round on us. Bring your bike, helmet, friends … and a sense of adventure!

“This is a real grassroots effort,” says Tröegs brother Chris Trogner. “It’s been steadily growing over the past few years, and we’re happy to help anyone in our community who might be food-insecure.”

And if riding isn’t your thing, bring any in-date pantry item to Tröegs and drop it off in our General Store.

See you at Cranksgiving!
