Tart red raspberries are the star of the new beer in our Tart & Fruit Series. Raspberry Tart Ale follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, Boysenberry Tart Ale, and features notes of tart raspberry jam, wildflowers and a hint of salt.
A first fermentation with lactobacillus gives this beer its pucker, while a second pass with our house ale yeast produces soft, fruity esters. A hint of Himalayan pink salt amplifies the flavor of tart raspberries, and coriander adds delicate notes of wildflowers.
Raspberry Tart Ale is now available in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans everywhere Tröegs is sold. It’s also one of the featured beers in our Anthology Summer sampler pack, which also includes 12-ounce bottles of year-round favorites Perpetual IPA and Sunshine Pils as well as our summer Hop Cycle beer Field Study IPA. Raspberry Tart Ale will also appear in our forthcoming Greetings from Tröegs can variety 15-pack, which is set to release on June 10.
