Have you been to Tröegs for Fried Chicken Thursdays yet?
Each week, we serve up 5 pieces of fried chicken – brined, battered and fried-to-order and served with house-made sourdough biscuits and pickles.
We also offer a twist each week.
One week, you might find Tröegsville Hot Chicken, where we toss 5 pieces of breaded chicken in hot oil, fry it, then add dry shake for extra heat and flavor. “The sauce is definitely spicy,” says Executive Chef Matt Lett. “But it also has a sweetness to it. If you can handle some spice, it’s certainly addictive!” Each plate includes five pieces of bone-in chicken, coleslaw, house pickles and Pullman bread with honey butter.
The next week, the special might feature a smoky and sweet mole rub and salsa macha with dried ancho chilis, peanuts, sesame seeds and garlic. Or a Dill Pickle version served with a side of Ranch.
