That’s no snow squall… It’s a blizzard!

Double Blizzard, that is.

Starting this week, our cold-weather favorite returns just as temperatures begin to plummet here in Central PA.

Clocking in at 8.3% ABV, this semi-hazy Double IPA is Blizzard of Hops… turned up to 11!

“We like to think of it as Blizzard of Hops’ big brother,” says our brewmaster and co-founding brother John Trogner.

To achieve Double Blizzard’s smooth texture and mouthfeel, we use a cooler temperature for the kettle hop additions. This process softens the character of the Centennial, Chinook and El Dorado hops used to make this big beer come to life.

On the cold side, we dry-hop with four pounds per barrel of Chinook and Galaxy to intensify the aroma with complementary citrus and pine notes… two flavors perfect for the winter season!

Track the storm to our Tasting Room and General Store now, and be on the lookout for this cold-weather favorite everywhere our beer is sold over the next two weeks. It’s only available for a limited time, so grab it when you see it!
