Cooking Instructions

  1. Slice onions & jalapeño
    • Peel onion, trim top and bottom, cut ¼-inch slices perpendicular to the trimmed portions
    • De-stem and de-seed peppers, cut into rounds.
  2. Sauté veggies
    • Add butter, veggies to uncovered cast iron or sauté pan on medium-low heat. Stir slowly on occasion.
    • Add brown sugar when caramelization is nearly complete
  3. Pre-heat grill or griddle and slice cheese
  4. Add patties, cook to internal temperature 145-150˚
    • Salt & pepper to taste
    • Add sliced cheese near end of cooking to allow them to melt slightly
  5. Layer cooked patty & spatula’s worth of sliced veggies on potato roll
