Cooking Instructions
- Slice onions & jalapeño
- Peel onion, trim top and bottom, cut ¼-inch slices perpendicular to the trimmed portions
- De-stem and de-seed peppers, cut into rounds.
- Sauté veggies
- Add butter, veggies to uncovered cast iron or sauté pan on medium-low heat. Stir slowly on occasion.
- Add brown sugar when caramelization is nearly complete
- Pre-heat grill or griddle and slice cheese
- Add patties, cook to internal temperature 145-150˚
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Add sliced cheese near end of cooking to allow them to melt slightly
- Layer cooked patty & spatula’s worth of sliced veggies on potato roll
