Friends of Tröegs: As a precautionary measure in light of the uncertainty surrounding the spread of COVID-19, we are temporarily closing our Tasting Room, General Store and Tours effective Monday, March 16. Tentative plans are to reopen Saturday, March 28. During this time our production brewery will continue to operate normally and we will continue to supply beer through our ten-state distribution network.
To the best of our knowledge no one who works at Tröegs and no one who has visited our Hershey brewery or Elizabethtown warehouse has tested positive for COVID-19. We are preemptively pressing pause on these operations for a couple of weeks out of an abundance of caution.
The situation is fluid, and we will continue to follow guidelines from federal, state and local authorities, making incremental adjustments to our plan as needed. To support our co-workers, we will be paying all scheduled co-workers (including tips) who are unable to work during the two-week closure. We hope to keep as many co-workers as possible actively working on a variety of special projects during this time.
We know you love Tröegs, and we want to continue to serve our vital role in the community. We are already looking to find alternative ways to serve our customers such as curbside pick-up for beer. As we identify these options, we will share information with you.
Finally, we ask you look for your favorite Tröegs beers at distributors, convenience stores, grocery stores, bars and restaurants near you. Thank you for your understanding and support.
